When you have three-phase power available, the L.B. White VOLT™ 18-3 Electric Heater gives you a powerful way to heat demanding jobsites without propane, diesel, or kerosene. With up to 65,000 BTU/hr of heating capacity, it’s built for contractors who need dependable temporary heat to maintain working temperatures and keep projects on schedule.

Fully electric operation eliminates combustion fumes and added combustion moisture at the point of use. That makes it especially valuable for enclosed construction areas, commercial renovations, restoration projects, warehouses, and other spaces where bringing a fuel-fired heater indoors may not be the right option.

A high-output fan moves up to 900 CFM of heated air across the work area, helping distribute warmth beyond the immediate area around the heater. The combination of powerful heat and airflow can also support drying and curing applications, particularly when used alongside air movers and dehumidifiers in restoration environments.

Temperature can be adjusted from 32°F to 100°F using the integrated ambient thermostat, allowing the heater to respond to changing jobsite conditions without requiring constant adjustment. Its rugged steel construction, stainless-jacketed heating coils, sealed motor, and industrial-grade fan are designed to stand up to demanding professional environments.

Designed specifically for 480V three-phase electrical service, this heater provides substantial heating performance without storing fuel, scheduling refills, managing exhaust, or introducing combustion-generated moisture into the space.   The VOLT™ 18-1 operates on 208 or 240V, 60 Hz, three-phase power and draws 81 amps at 19 kW or 54 amps at 13 kW according to L.B. White’s specifications.
